Various aspects of bilateral relations were the subject of discussion.

Mr Medvedev noted that relations between the two countries have been developing more steadily as a result of a number of recent high-level meetings. The President said that this is reflected in trade and economic ties, cultural contacts and in other areas of mutual interest.

Prince Bandar bin Sultan said that in the view of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Russian-Saudi relations at all levels are strategic in nature and serve to strengthen bilateral cooperation in all different areas and at every level.
