“In recent years, the Parliament of Daghestan has carried out important, multifaceted work to establish a legislative framework that promotes the region’s social progress. It has laid the legal groundwork for reforms in the economy, social sphere, healthcare and culture. Undeniably, the People’s Assembly of Daghestan united the republic’s citizens during the period of difficult trials to address the most pressing challenges, above all preserving the territorial integrity of Daghestan and all of Russia, combating international terrorism and strengthening interethnic peace and harmony in the North Caucasus. This achievement deserves the highest appreciation.

I am confident that in the future, with your sincere love for your homeland and, your expertise, and your fruitful collaboration with executive authorities, political parties and public associations, you will continue to work with full dedication for the benefit of multiethnic Daghestan and our Fatherland.”
