Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and guests of the Russia and the World: Healthy Longevity Trends forum.
The message reads, in part:
“This meeting has brought together a vast audience of prominent researchers, clinicians, heads of relevant ministries and departments, and representatives of business and the media from various Russian regions. Undoubtedly, the issues included in the forum agenda are, without exaggeration, of national importance. The discussion will focus on fundamental issues pertaining to demographic concerns, promoting and improving public health, improving the quality of life and increasing human lifespan. Therefore, it is important that during open discussions at the forum, you will comprehensively consider the key aspects of the Long and Active Life national project, launched in 2025. This project requires combined efforts of the state, civil society institutions, businesses, and research teams, as well as a creative review of the best domestic and international experience in this field.
I am confident that your exchange of views will generate concrete proposals and initiatives to be subsequently considered and used by government bodies, healthcare, education and cultural institutions, media outlets and key sectors of the economy.”
