Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the First Symphony of the Good International Music Competition and Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“It is encouraging that cultural life in Yakutia has been burgeoning in recent years, enriched by new creative endeavours and initiatives. Your remarkable and meaningful project, launching today in the Republic’s capital, rightly takes its place among these achievements.
The Symphony of the Good festival convenes seasoned educators and mentors, renowned musicians, and young talents who are just beginning their artistic journeys: promising performers and gifted students from across the Russian Far East and the Asia-Pacific region. You have an packed and inspiring programme ahead – competitive performances, workshops, roundtable discussions, and a range of equally significant educational and cultural events. The participants will also receive substantive support in bringing their creative ideas and ambitions to life, including a chance to join the first youth symphony orchestra of the Far Eastern Federal District.
I believe that the First Symphony of the Good International Music Competition and Festival will be a great success. It will help promote the rich traditions of both national and global musical culture and contribute to the strengthening of international cultural ties.”
