The message reads, in part:
“This holiday, marking the liberation of Minsk from Nazi occupation, holds deep significance for both Belarusians and Russians, who fought side by side and played a pivotal role in the victory over Nazism.
It is important that today, in the face of serious external threats and challenges, the bond of fraternal friendship and mutual assistance that binds our countries remains as strong as ever. Russia and Belarus actively cooperate across a variety of fields, coordinating their efforts in international affairs and consistently improving the Union State institutions.
I am confident that by acting together, we will overcome any challenges and further strengthen productive bilateral ties for the benefit of the Russian and Belarusian people, in the interests of ensuring stability and security in Eurasia.”
