Vladimir Putin extended his condolences to the family and friends of Supreme Court President Irina Podnosova.
The message reads, in part:
“I have long known her as a person of principle and integrity, and an outstanding professional. She put all her effort in anything she did, and was a paragon of responsibility and dedication she demonstrated in the cause she pursued in her life. As President of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation she was firm and consistent in asserting the rule of law and honestly served her Fatherland and our people.
Irina Podnosova’s family, friends and colleagues will always cherish her memory deep in their hearts.”
