Greetings to participants and guests of the first national professional skills competition for disabled veterans of the special military operation

July 25, 2025

Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants and guests of the first national professional skills competition for disabled veterans of the special military operation held within the framework of the National Abilympics Championship.

The message reads, in part:

“It is notable that the system of support for disabled participants and veterans of combat operations is being developed and supplemented with significant and in-demand plans and initiatives, taking into consideration concrete life situations. This large and promising project, which is aimed at helping our heroes realise their talents and skills, promote their professional improvement and gain new knowledge and competencies, plays a major role in this sphere.

I am confident that the participants will demonstrate their skills in practical projects and endeavours during the competition and the business programme, and that their success and achievements will inspire their frontline comrades. I also hope that this championship, launched in the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory and the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, will gain public recognition and become a regular event.”
