Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the Petrovsky Ball in St Petersburg.
The message reads, in part:
“This large-scale creative project has become a prominent cultural and social landmark. Upholding Russia’s long-standing traditions of charity, philanthropy, and education, the Petrovsky Ball fosters the development of musical and choreographic arts, helps preserve the rich legacy of our opera and ballet school, and brings to life the vivid chapters of Russian history.
I am certain that this year’s Petrovsky Ball will be a resounding success, fostering meaningful intercultural dialogue and strengthening humanitarian ties. Most importantly, it will leave participants with lasting memories of its joyful, truly festive atmosphere and its rich, diverse programme.”
