Greetings to the 22nd Moscow Meets Friends International Festival

October 1, 2025

Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers, and guests of the 22nd Moscow Meets Friends International Festival

The message reads, in part:

“This creative event has long been one of significant occasions in the cultural life of our capital and the whole of Russia. Continuing the wonderful traditions of charity, patronage, and enlightenment, it has become a true school for thousands of gifted children, helping them to reveal their talents and find their path to the heights of creativity, whilst gaining wide international recognition and audience popularity. Undoubtedly, immense credit for this belongs to Vladimir Spivakov, his inexhaustible energy and dedication, and sincere concern for the younger generation.

Among the guests of this year’s festival are children of participants in the special military operation, residents of the Kursk and Belgorod Regions, as well as Donbass and Novorossiya. Naturally, in the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, a special place in the programme belongs to loyalty to the high ideals of patriotism and civic duty.

I am convinced that the festival will be a great success. I wholeheartedly wish you to steadfastly pursue your cherished dream and achieve your set goals.”
