Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, organisers and guests of the 2nd Bioprom: Industry and Technology for Humans International Forum.
The message reads, in part:
“Today, progress in life sciences and related applied fields largely determines human health and environmental wellbeing. I am referring to the large-scale introduction of advanced technologies in medicine, agriculture, and national food security.
Importantly, a new national project, Technological Support for the Bioeconomy, is aimed at addressing these major current challenges. Its launch is intended to encourage authorities, businesses and the scientific community to pool efforts in creating innovative products, localising full production cycles, and training skilled personnel for the bioindustry.”
