Telephone conversation with President of Armenia

Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

The two presidents discussed the results of Mr Medvedev’s recent state visit to Armenia, and both noted that the agreements signed during the visit will play a fundamental part in building up the constructive and multilevel ties between the two countries. Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh Sargsyan also noted the importance of active efforts by Russian and Armenian ministries and agencies to develop the strategic partnership.

Regional issues were also discussed, including the question of a settlement in Nagorno Karabakh. Mr Medvedev said that Russia is ready to continue helping to find a political solution acceptable for both Armenia and Azerbaijan.
