The President spoke with the children in the Grand Kremlin Palace’s St Andrew Hall. The children came on holiday to Russia at Mr Medvedev’s invitation.
Mr Medvedev wished the children a good holiday and said he hoped the Chinese people will soon overcome all of the earthquake’s consequences.
More than 1,000 children from China will spend time in Russia holidaying and recovering from the disaster this year.
