Vladimir Putin: With respect to the choice of the American people, we look forward to seeing the results (of the US presidential elections).

Question: Do you expect a quick answer to your nuclear initiatives? And what do you think about Russian-American relations during the Clinton presidency? What are your wishes for the next administration?

Vladimir Putin: As President, Mr Clinton made a breakthrough in Russian-American relations. We hope that the new administration, whoever will head it, will continue the dialogue.
