President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev: Dear Colleagues!
You are about to take up new positions in Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. Both of these states are our close allies. We have a special relationship with them. And I hope that your activities will serve to strengthen such cooperation, to develop it in every area, economic, political and cultural.
Let me emphasise once again that a great deal depends on the work of our ambassadors in the countries with which we have such close relations. I wish you every success.
