Aide to the President, Chairman of the Commission for the Development of General Aviation Igor Levitin held a meeting on the implementation in the Southern Federal District of recommendations regarding the development of general aviation issued by the Transport Ministry and approved by the Commission for the Development of General Aviation.
Taking part in the video conference were Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov, Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov, Federal Air Transport Agency Head Alexander Neradko, high-ranking officials from regions of the Southern Federal District, members of the Commission, representatives of concerned federal and regional bodies of power and of professional and public organisations.
The discussion covered current matters and the specific local experience of developing general aviation, planning the future development of this sphere with due account of each region’s needs.
The discussion also touched upon measures to ensure flight security for general-purpose craft.
