On October 4, the President signed Executive Order on Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye Region.
In connection with the accession of the Zaporozhye Region to the Russian Federation and the establishment of a new constituent entity of the Russian Federation, as well as in accordance with Clause 4 of Article 8 of the Federal Constituent Law No. 7-FKZ, On the Accession of the Zaporozhye Region to the Russian Federation and the Establishment of a New Constitutional Entity of the Russian Federation, the Zaporozhye Region, dated October 4, 2022, the President approved the appointment of Yevgeny Balitsky to the post of Acting Governor of the Zaporozhye Region until an elected official assumes office.
