The President signed Executive Order On Awarding an Honorary Designation to the 40th Detached Double Red Banner Krasnodar-Harbin Naval Infantry Brigade.
For mass heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the brigade’s personnel in combat operations to protect the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts, the President resolved to award the honorary Guards designation to the 40th Detached Double Red Banner Krasnodar-Harbin Naval Infantry Brigade. From now on, it shall be referred to as the 40th Detached Guards Double Red Banner Krasnodar-Harbin Naval Infantry Brigade.
