Vladimir Putin congratulated President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on the Republic’s Independence Day.
In his congratulatory message, the Russian President stressed that relations between Russia and Armenia, which have deep historical roots, continue to develop in the spirit of strategic partnership and are improving through promising projects in a variety of areas. As Vladimir Putin noted, “this is largely due to close integration and cooperation between our states within the Eurasian Economic Union, the CSTO and the CIS.”
The President expressed confidence that by working together, the countries can ensure the further strengthening of the entire range of links within the union, and constructive cooperation in resolving the current issues on the regional and international agendas, which undoubtedly serves the basic interests of the two brotherly nations.
Vladimir Putin wished Serzh Sargsyan good health, happiness and success, and peace, prosperity and happiness to the people of Armenia.
