Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to President of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.
The President of Russia expressed a high opinion of the impressive economic, social, scientific and technical achievements which China attained over the past 70 years, as well as the country’s prestige on the international stage and its large role in dealing with major issues on the global agenda.
“China is moving confidently under your guidance towards the goals set at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, that is, building a ‘moderately prosperous society’ by 2021 and turning China into a ‘great modern socialist country’ by 2049,” Vladimir Putin noted in his message.
The Russian President pointed out that Russia and China are indispensable strategic partners for each other. He also expressed satisfaction with the high level of Russian-Chinese political dialogue, bilateral cooperation in all spheres, as well as interaction on regional and international issues.
Vladimir Putin praised the friendly relations he has with Xi Jinping and expressed his resolve to continue constructive dialogue and close cooperation in the interests of Russian and Chinese people.
