Vladimir Putin met with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev.
The two leaders discussed the whole range of their bilateral relations. Discussions touched on military cooperation and the use of Kant Air Base [in Kyrgyzstan].
During the meeting special attention was paid to the implementation of earlier agreements, particularly the construction of Kambarata hydropower plant.
The President of Russia is in Kyrgyzstan to attend the informal meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) heads of state.
