Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Mr Putin and Mr Nazarbayev continued their exchange of opinions on Nagorno-Karabakh in the context of telephone conversations with the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia in the past few days. Vladimir Putin told his Kazakhstani colleague about Russia’s mediation efforts, including those undertaken by the Prime Minister and Foreign and Defence ministers.
The two presidents also discussed bilateral cooperation and the schedule for upcoming high-level and summit meetings within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
