The President of Russia noted Kazakhstan’s major achievements in socioeconomic development and progress in science and technology, the country's well-deserved authority in the global arena, as well as its important constructive role in solving current international problems.

Vladimir Putin also noted with satisfaction the steady progress in bilateral relations, strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Kazakhstan. The President of Russia expressed confidence that joint efforts will ensure further expansion of the entire range of bilateral ties, as well as cooperation on the  Background information Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) EAEU, Background information Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) CSTO, Background information Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) CIS, Background information Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) SCO, UN and other multilateral platforms. “This undoubtedly meets the fundamental interests of our fraternal peoples, and goes in line with strengthening security and stability in the Eurasian space,” the Russian President underlined.
