Vladimir Putin sent greetings to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two states.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the past decades, Russian-Kazakhstani relations have reached the level of strategic partnership and alliance. The two states are deepening their substantive bilateral political dialogue, and expanding constructive cooperation in trade and economic relations, science and technology, people-to-people contacts and other areas.
Moscow and Astana work together effectively in the EAEU, CSTO, CIS, SCO and at other multilateral platforms, making an important contribution to strengthening security and stability in Central Asia and the Caspian region.
I am confident that through joint efforts, we will ensure the further expansion of bilateral ties for the benefit of our fraternal peoples.”
