Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
The two leaders continued discussing the situation following the Malaysia Airlines disaster over Ukrainian territory. Mr Putin and Mr Rutte stressed the need for ICAO experts to get access to the disaster site as soon as possible in order to conduct an independent and objective investigation. In this context, they called for a swift end to military operations in Ukraine, above all in the disaster zone.
The two leaders agreed to continue their contacts.
