Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on Exempting Customs Union Member States from Application of Certain Types of Customs Control.
The agreement, developed to implement Article 105 of the Customs Code of the Customs Union, defines the list of individuals whose personal baggage is not subject to customs inspection. In particular, these include highest public officials of the Customs Union countries within the framework of EurAsEC when they cross the customs border while performing their official duties or credentials as deputies.
The agreement was signed in St Petersburg on June 18, 2010.
