Vladimir Putin met with Prime Minister of Great Britain David Cameron on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.
The situation in Ukraine dominated the conversation of the Russian President and the British Prime Minister. David Cameron expressed his views on the current state of affairs in the southeast of Ukraine, while Vladimir Putin provided extensive clarifications.
The two leaders expressed interest in restoring relations between Russia and the West and in taking effective measures to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, which would help put an end to confrontation.
The conversation also covered fundamental reasons for the current discord between Russia, the United States and a number of European nations. The Russian President and the British Prime Minister also touched upon issues pertaining to Syria and ISIS.
