Having examined the proposals of the Presidential Council for Culture and Art, Vladimir Putin resolved to award the 2012 prizes and the honorary title of President's Prize for Young Cultural Professionals laureate to:

Olga Malyshko, chief bibliographer at the Shishkov Altai Regional Research Library’s Local History Department, for her contribution to the development of local history and ensuring the integration of the Altai Territory’s information resources in the global information space;

Yulia Peresild, stage and screen actress, for her contribution to the development of national theatre and cinema;

Yevgeny Sosedov, Chairman of the Moscow regional branch of the national public organisation National Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments, for his contribution to the preservation of Moscow Region’s historical appearance.
