Dmitry Medvedev submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Protocol on amendments and addends to the Agreement on the Customs Union Commission.
The Protocol on amendments and addenda to the Agreement on the Customs Union Commission of October 6, 2007 was signed on December 9, 2010 in Moscow at the session of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (at the heads-of-state level).
The Protocol specifies the procedure for the entry into force of the Customs Union Commission’s decisions, contemplating, in exceptional cases, a shorter period to implement this procedure, and gives the Commission the right to create coordinating and consultative bodies to review the proposals and harmonise the positions of the Customs Union member-states.
