Vladimir Putin is receiving numerous birthday greetings from heads of state and government of foreign countries and leaders of international organisations.
The President of Russia received birthday greetings in person from President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who are currently in Moscow.
Vladimir Putin also received greetings by telephone from President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
During the telephone conversations, the leaders discussed relevant issues on the bilateral agenda as well as regional problems. In particular, recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh were discussed during the conversations with Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan.
