Working meeting with Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Viktor Ishayev

The situation on the labour market in the Federal District was discussed at the meeting.

According to the development plans for the  Far East, there will be demand for at least half a million skilled professionals in the region by 2025. The demand is expected to be generated by the development of transport infrastructure, shipbuilding and other industries.

Dmitry Medvedev instructed Viktor Ishayev to hold a meeting with the governors, education professionals and business leaders to coordinate the training of specialists in accordance with the needs of the Far Eastern economy.
