Visit to exhibition of priority development territories

On the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum, the President visited an exhibition of priority development territories and initiated the startup of a number of projects during a videoconference.

The head of state initiated the launch of several projects via videoconference during his visit to the exhibition. Thus, the President was shown the new Khabarovsk International Airport domestic passenger terminal, the fish cannery on Shikotan Island, the Vertikalnoye Silver Mine in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), and a construction project for an Amur gas chemical facility.

Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev and Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Alexander Kozlov, Vladimir Putin saw the interactive display of the macro region’s socio-economic development in 2014–2019 and was told about promising initiatives.
