Presidential Aide and State Council Secretary Igor Levitin chaired the third meeting of the working group on preparing a State Council Presidium meeting on measures to implement the strategic tasks set in the President’s Executive Order of May 7, 2018, on the accelerated socio-economic development of the Far East.

Presidential Aide and Secretary of the State Council Igor Levitin chaired the second meeting of the working group to prepare for a State Council Presidium meeting, scheduled to take place in September on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum. The State Council Presidium meeting will focus on measures to implement strategic objectives set out in the Presidential Executive Order of May 7, 2018 with a view to promoting priority socioeconomic development of Russia’s Far East.

The first working group meeting on preparing for a State Council Presidium session on measures to implement the strategic tasks set by the President’s Executive Order of May 7, 2018 on the accelerated socio-economic development of the Far East took place under the chairmanship of Presidential Aide and State Council Secretary Igor Levitin.

Mr Kozlov briefed the President on the region’s socioeconomic situation. The discussion also focused on the complaints and requests sent in by local residents to the head of state during the Direct Line.

Mr Kozlov briefed Vladimir Putin on the region’s socioeconomic situation and gave updates on projects to build a number of energy sector, industrial and social sector facilities.
