Vladimir Putin toured the Regions of Russia exhibition, which is part of the Russia International Exhibition and Forum at VDNKh.
The President was accompanied by First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office – Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, and Presidential Aide Maxim Oreshkin. Comments during the tour were provided by General Director of the ANO Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements “Russia” Natalya Virtuozova and stand administrators.
Vladimir Putin visited the stands of the Primorye Territory, the Tyumen Region, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Omsk and Arkhangelsk regions, St Petersburg, the Donetsk People’s Republic, Daghestan, the Kursk Region, Kalmykia, and Sevastopol.
The Regions of Russia exhibition features achievements of all the 89 constituent entities of the Federation in various fields – industry and agriculture, education and science, culture, tourism and sport. The stands also provide information about the history, landmarks, and unique natural wealth of the regions.
