The President has signed the Executive Order On Conferring the Honorary Title of Guards on the 488th Simferopol Motorised Rifle Regiment, Holder of the Order of the Red Banner and the Order of Suvorov.
For the heroism and courage, fortitude and bravery exhibited by the regiment's personnel in defence of the Fatherland and national interests in armed conflicts, the President has conferred the honorary title of Guards on the Sergo Ordzhonikidze 488th Simferopol Motorised Rifle Regiment, holder of the Order of the Red Banner and the Order of Suvorov.
