The President signed Executive Order On Early Termination of the Mandate of Sverdlovsk Region Governor.

The Governor reported to Dmitry Medvedev on the socioeconomic situation in the region, including in the manufacturing sector and investments.

The meeting discussed decentralisation initiatives that would transfer some of the federal government’s powers to regional level. 

The Governor briefed the President on the implementation of policies supporting motherhood and children in Sverdlovsk Region.
