Vladimir Putin congratulated President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on the country’s national holiday, Independence Day.
In his congratulatory message, Vladimir Putin expressed satisfaction with the achieved level of Russian-Belarusian partnership in trade, investment, scientific and humanitarian spheres, as well as cooperation with Belarus in the implementation of large-scale integration projects – the Union State, Customs Union and Common Economic Space, – and the joint efforts to create the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Russian President stated his confidence in the further successful development of allied relations with Belarus in the interests of both nations.
