On the 100^th anniversary of domestic civil aviation, Vladimir Putin met with representatives of the aviation industry. A ceremony to open new civil aviation facilities, in which the President took part via videoconference, was timed to coincide with this anniversary.

Mr Vekselberg briefed Dmitry Medvedev on the Skolkovo Innovation Centre’s current activities and the programmes the Skolkovo Foundation is currently carrying out.

Dmitry Medvedev met with president of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology Edward Crawley and president of Massachusetts Institute of Technology Susan Hockfield.

Dmitry Medvedev and Viktor Vekselberg reviewed the progress made on the Skolkovo Innovation Centre.

Viktor Vekselberg, the coordinator of the Russian part of the Skolkovo innovation centre project, briefed the President on the progress of the project implementation.
