Vladimir Putin, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
The main topic of the meeting was promoting integration aimed at forming the Eurasian Economic Union by 2015.
Nine documents were signed following the meeting. In particular, resolutions were passed on progressing in the major integration areas, adopting the Eurasian Economic Commission 2013 budget, liquidating the Customs Union Commission, and initiating talks with the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on signing a Free Trade Zone Agreement.
The Council meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board Viktor Khristenko.
