Vladimir Putin sent his congratulations to President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and all Kyrgyzstani citizens on the 25th anniversary of the country’s independence.
In his message of congratulations, Mr Putin noted the high level of bilateral relations based on longstanding traditions of friendship and mutual respect. “We are actively developing bilateral cooperation in a range of areas, and our efforts to coordinate our countries’ work on resolving current regional issues through the Eurasian Economic Union, CSTO, CIS and other international organisations are producing good results,” the President said.
The President said he is sure that continued development of mutually advantageous ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan in all areas is in the fundamental interests of both countries’ fraternal peoples and works to strengthen security and stability in the Eurasian region.
