Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov spoke at Andrei Vorobyov’s inauguration as Moscow Region Governor.
Sergei Ivanov expressed his hope that Mr Vorobyov’s extensive experience of political, legislative and public work, and his energy and dedication will help make the Moscow area a more comfortable and attractive place to live, work and do business.
Mr Ivanov said many indicators rank Moscow Region among Russia’s five most developed regional economies, and it is also an investment leader. Large-scale infrastructure projects are successfully being implemented there. According to Sergei Ivanov, these are the results of the close partnership between the Moscow authorities and federal government.
The inauguration ceremony took place at the House of Moscow Region Government.
