Presidential Aide and State Council Secretary Igor Levitin chaired a State Council Commission meeting on education.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, Chairman of the Commission and Kirov Region Governor Igor Vasilyev, State Council members Aisen Nikolayev and Mikhail Razvozhayev, Adviser to the President Alexandra Levitskaya, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Anna Kuznetsova, members of the Presidential Council for Science and Education, ASI General Director Svetlana Chupsheva, representatives of specialised federal and regional executive authorities, Federal Assembly chambers, and sector-specific associations of entrepreneurs and scientific expert organisations.
Commission Chairman Igor Vasilyev reported on preparations for the State Council meeting on the constituent entities’ tasks in general education.
Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov in his report covered the new tasks and priorities of the education system, school activities during the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the Government's plans in general education.
The participants considered the use of digital technologies drawing on the example of enrollment in general education organisations via the Unified Public Services website.
The participants discussed ways to promote the education system’s infrastructure using public-private partnerships.
The best regional practices were also reviewed, including the full-time school model, which makes it possible to implement individual learning curves for children with different educational needs and abilities.
The commission’s decisions will be used to draft a report for the upcoming State Council meeting and proposals to be included in the draft list of Presidential instructions.
