The President had a telephone conversation with Krasnoyarsk Region Governor Viktor Tolokonsky to express his condolences in connection with the death of people in an accident involving two buses.
The President instructed Healthcare Minister Veronika Skvortsova to make the federal medical facilities available for treatment of the crash victims, if necessary.
The accident happened early in the morning on the M54 Yenisei highway in Krasnoyarsk Region. Early information suggests that a passenger bus carrying people crossed the centre line and hit a minibus head-on. Eleven of the minibus passengers were killed in a crash and nine more people were sent to hospitals.
