Vladimir Putin will hold an expanded meeting of the Presidential Council for Culture and the Art Presidium on developing theatre in Russia.
Taking part in the meeting will be Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky, Presidential Adviser Vladimir Tolstoy, directors of creative unions and media outlets, and representatives of the theatre and museum communities.
As part of the trip, the President will also visit the Pushkin Pskov Academic Drama Theatre, which has recently undergone restoration and construction work.
A Presidential Executive Order declared 2014 the Year of Culture in Russia.
