Last evening in St. Petersburg, the President held a working meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.
The participants discussed current international affairs, focusing on humanitarian issues related to the situation in Syria, among other things.
Apart from that, the discussion covered the Russian domestic socioeconomic agenda, including development of the tourist infrastructure in light of the growing demand for tourism within Russia.
The meeting was attended by Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the External Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov, and Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev.
