Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting of the State Council Presidium on state policy in the areas of families, motherhood and childhood in Cherepovets on February 17.
The main focus will be on implementing the relevant provisions in the May 2012 Presidential Executive Orders.
Those taking part in the meeting will include Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, Presidential Aide Igor Levitin, heads of federal ministries and agencies, and a number of regional governors.
During the trip, Mr Putin will also visit the Cherepovets Steel Mill (Severstal), where he will meet with the company’s workers to discuss this subject.
