Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov chaired an organisational meeting of the State Council advisory commission.
The meeting discussed the advisory commission’s action plan for 2015 and proposals from regional leaders regarding ways to improve interbudgetary relations that will be submitted to the President for consideration at the commission’s next meeting in April of 2015.
The advisory commission of the State Council serves to assist the President in identifying the most crucial issues pertaining to socioeconomic development of Russia and its regions and shall develop proposals on their resolution.
Taking part in the meeting were Presidential Aide and State Council Secretary Igor Levitin and heads of several Russian regions.
