Presidential Aide and Secretary of the State Council Igor Levitin chaired the third meeting of the State Council Presidium working group on investment appeal of the housing and utilities sector.
Head of the working group, Voronezh Region Governor Alexei Gordeyev briefed the meeting on the drafting of a report on the basic measures to improve the country’s housing and utilities sector.
The meeting’s participants examined best regional practice in modernising the sector’s infrastructure, including as part of concession agreements.
Other items on the agenda included issues related to carrying out investment projects in the sector, use of energy-saving and energy-efficient technologies, stricter oversight of managing companies’ work, enhancing resource consumption record keeping in the sector and other matters.
The remarks and proposals made at the meeting will be taken into account in revising the report and drafting documents for the upcoming meeting of the State Council Presidium.
