The meeting focused on the region's socioeconomic development. The Governor reported to the President on the sowing of spring crops, support for farmers during the spring sowing campaign, housing construction and the situation in the employment market.

The President is receiving constant updates from the governors of the fire-affected regions.

Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Government to take urgent measures to put out fires, help victims’ families and others affected by the fires, and allocate compensation funds for property destroyed and building new homes.
