Following a meeting on forestry development on September 8, 2010, the Russian Government was instructed to consider the establishment of emergency response levels that envisage additional measures to ensure public safety.
Currently, a single state system is in place to prevent and manage emergency situations, the tasks of which are set forth in the Federal Law On Protection of Population and Territories from Natural and Man-Made Emergency Situations.
As part of the single state system for preventing and eliminating emergency situations, it is planned to regularly hold events to improve the response to accidents and disasters.
