President Putin met with Akhmad Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen administration

President Putin approved an action plan to rebuild Chechnya, including the security, economic and social aspects. The discussion also included the candidacies for the head of the Chechen government, including Stanislav Ilyasov.

The President gave instructions to the heads of security agencies to prepare and submit proposals for reducing the military force in Chechnya.

The head of state asked the government to accelerate the preparation of a programme for the economic development of Chechnya, taking into account Mr Kadyrov’s proposals.

Mr Putin gave instructions to his Executive Office to make changes to the statute on the temporary executive branch of government in the Chechen Republic dated June 8, 2000.
